A Patent-Pending Swedish Breakthrough
In 2019 our company co-founders left their university studies to instead build a world-class science team and lab in Sweden. Our objective was clear: tackle the 2.8 Gigatons of CO2e emitted by global cattle annually. The result of that dedicated R&D is our breakthrough product, Lome®, a feed additive that drastically reduces methane emissions while capturing lost energy to boost feed efficiency.

Manufacturing
Engineering for Impact at Scale
Our journey started with nature. When scientists discovered that a specific seaweed naturally eliminates cattle methane, we built our first lab to cultivate it. But to tackle global emissions, marine biology couldn't scale to the size of the worldwide cattle herd. Instead our science team worked to replicate nature’s mechanism. By developing a synthetic version of the exact same active molecule, we transformed a natural phenomenon into a highly scalable manufacturing blueprint capable of global impact.
Precision Formulation
Active molecules require a stable physical vehicle to survive the feed supply chain. Through an emulsion and precision spray granulation, we encapsulate the bioactive payload inside a protective shield of standard agricultural ingredients, vegetable oil and carbohydrates. This produces uniform, zero-dust granules designed to mix seamlessly into standard feed mills, releasing the molecules only once it reaches the rumen to selectively inhibit the methane-producing enzyme.

While our manufacturing capabilities scales globally, our core R&D is based in Sweden. In our labs are where our team develop products, conducts rigorous tests, and processes the vast amounts of trial data to push the boundaries of agricultural chemistry.

Lome® has been evaluated in 12 university-led farm trials across 7 countries. We have spent years compiling a regulatory dossier for EFSA in Europe, the toughest, most respected regulatory gateway in the world, setting the gold standard for our future global product approvals.
